Overview

Senior Mechanical Engineer role at Cundall. This opportunity is for an experienced, client‑focused Mechanical Building Services expert to join the Manila office and deliver innovative mechanical design solutions for local and regional projects. You will work across sectors such as Education, Commercial, Healthcare, Retail and Critical Systems, collaborating with colleagues from various disciplines to manage delivery of technically excellent, profitable projects. Over time, you may assume greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your skills develop.

Cundall’s building services team aims to make buildings more energy efficient, sustainable, and cost effective to operate, with a track record of innovative and practical mechanical and electrical solutions. Our Philippines operations serve as the regional centre of excellence for Data Centre design, Sustainability, and Building Services.

The Role

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Building Services professional to join our Manila team and contribute to the delivery of innovative mechanical design solutions for prominent projects locally and regionally. You will work across diverse sectors and collaborate with multi‑disciplinary teams. You will have opportunities to grow into greater levels of responsibility and autonomy as your professional skills develop.

The Skills

Required: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering (MEng, BEng or equivalent). Broad experience in a Mechanical Engineering role within building services (ventilation, cooling and air conditioning, heating systems, etc.). Proficiency in design software such as Revit, IES, CYMAP and/or Hevacomp. A portfolio demonstrating quality work and a client‑focussed approach. Data Centre and Critical Systems experience is highly advantageous.

Experience in managing multiple large‑scale projects and teams, delivering to and exceeding client expectations, with a passion for creative and intuitive design. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential given the collaborative, client‑focussed nature of the role.
