Data Migration Project Leader and Delivery Lead ERNI Mandaluyong, National Capital Region, Philippines Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Leader to spearhead a complex Data Migration initiative. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing the full lifecycle of data migration from legacy systems to new target platforms. This role requires excellent leadership, strong problem-solving skills, and a thorough understanding of data management principles. Responsibilities Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in alignment with business goals. Develop detailed work plans, schedules, project estimates, resource plans, and status reports. Prepare and manage project budgets in collaboration with relevant stakeholders. Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Business Intelligence, Finance, etc.) and external vendors to ensure alignment on project objectives. Clearly communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at various levels. Manage stakeholder expectations by setting realistic goals and timelines. Oversee extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes to ensure accuracy and data integrity. Implement best practices and industry standards for data migration, quality, and security. Monitor data cleansing and validation activities to mitigate risks of data loss or corruption. Manage cross-functional project teams, ensuring clarity in roles and responsibilities. Provide leadership, guidance, and support to team members throughout all project phases. Foster a collaborative culture that encourages continuous learning and innovation. Monitor project deliverables to meet quality standards and timelines. Conduct regular project reviews and post-implementation evaluations. Prepare and present project updates and executive summaries to senior management. Qualifications Required: 8+ years of demonstrated experience in leading complex data migration or data integration projects. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Science, or a related field. Master’s degree is a plus. Skills: Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, data governance, and data quality control. Proficiency in SQL, Python, or data integration platforms (e.g., Informatica, Talend, or similar). Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project management methodologies. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills; ability to convey technical information to non-technical audiences. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities; proven track record in fast-paced environments. PMP, PRINCE2, or CSM certification highly regarded. Preferred: Experience with cloud migration (Azure and Databricks) and/or on-premises to cloud data transition. Familiarity with data privacy regulations (GDPR, CCPA, HIPAA, etc.). Track record of leading large-scale transformation initiatives. Ability to mentor team members and foster professional development. Focus on the Project Able to Manage and get reports from multiple Project leads (between 5-10) to ensure project timelines are met and risks are triaged. Able to manage up to 2 Scrum teams in parallel. Ensure project deliverables and critical path are upheld. Stakeholder management and negotiation skills. Strong documentation, reporting, scheduling, and monitoring of deliverables from each stakeholder. Mastery of Microsoft Office tools (Power BI, Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
