Overview

ABOUT THE ROLE

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly reporting packages for various clients which includes income statements, balance sheets, and other internal reporting requirements in a paperless environment.
• Reconcile various general ledger accounts with the trial balance each month.
• Timely completion of monthly bank reconciliations and credit card reconciliations that agree with the general ledger.
• Make appropriate journal entries in conjunction with monthly reconciliations each month including depreciation expense and maintain all fixed asset detail schedules for assigned clients.
• Income Tax Return preparation (Business/Individual) is helpful but not required (we provide training).
• Knowledge of US payroll tax and systems for weekly/biweekly or monthly payroll and quarterly payroll tax return reporting is helpful but not required.
• Support and communicate with various team members as needed.
• Prepare or assist with annual year end payroll and 1099 reporting of assigned clients.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of accounting experience.
• With US Taxation experience and background
• Hands on experience in using QuickBooks (Online and Desktop)
• UltraTax tax experience is a plus
• Motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task while working independently.
• Flexible and able to work within time constraints and deadlines.
• Team player that is respectful and professional.
