Role Summary The Game Project Manager oversees the planning, execution, and delivery of game projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and on budget. This role acts as a key liaison between development teams, stakeholders, and external partners to drive project success and maintain high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and milestones. Coordinate cross-functional teams including developers, artists, designers, QA, and marketing. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies. Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings within Agile/Scrum frameworks. Manage resource allocation and workload balancing. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure adherence to project scope, schedule, and budget constraints. Drive continuous process improvements to enhance project efficiency and quality. Support documentation and reporting related to project deliverables. Manage external vendors and contractors as needed. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Business, Computer Science, or related field. 3+ years of project management experience, preferably in game development or software. Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and project management tools Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Proven ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Passion for gaming and understanding of game development processes. Preferred Experience managing projects for mobile, console, PC, or live-service games. Experience working with Unity based teams Experience working with multiplayer based games Familiarity with game production pipelines and software development lifecycle. Ability to motivate and inspire creative teams in a fast-paced environment.
