Overview Senior SAP APO Demand Planning (DP) Functional Consultant Your Role Be part of several client projects as a Senior APO-DP Functional Consultant. One client has already implemented a DP solution based on multiple planning books. However, a new plant must be incorporated. Typical activities include checking current APO planning books, understanding the overall planning process, and creating documentation based on the current process. Lead workshops with users to explain changes required and how these changes will be incorporated into the current process. Make a detailed list of changes per category such as planning book fields, process chain, data extraction, etc. Perform SAP prototyping and analysis on new requirements to be explored. Identify add-on objects and enhancements required; draft the overall design of add-ons and enhancements. Plan and manage configuration, development, testing, and documentation. Work closely with the Project Lead/Manager, providing status updates and raising issues/risks early. Handle medium to complex APO configuration and development. Support users during UAT and Go-live to fix defects and performance issues and assist users in general. Plan and execute PRD migration. Liaise with other teams (Basis, SAP OTC, BI). Your Profile Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s/College Degree. 8-10 years of working experience in the related field is required. Minimum 6 years working experience in Support / SAP implementation projects. Advanced knowledge of APO demand planning, particularly planning books, including configuration, development, and testing of the planning books. Basic knowledge of GATP and basic knowledge of integration with other systems. Ability to perform own task reviews; strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to lead a team and perform peer reviews; excellent leadership, communication (written and oral), and interpersonal skills. SAP certification is a plus; experience in SAP HANA is a plus; exposure to other SAP modules like SD, MM, etc. is a plus.
