Overview

CoreData is looking for a Senior Research Analyst to conduct primary and secondary research tasks and support delivery of consumer and B2B research projects across a range of industries. The ideal candidate will be responsible for turning raw data into actionable insights through the use of statistical tools and software. Innovation, attention to detail, critical thinking and collaboration with local and offshore counterparts are key skills to succeed in this role. This full-time, Manila-based role is best suited to researchers with at least 5 years experience in a market research agency, or similar research-related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Liaising with the regional consultants in Australia to determine priority tasks.
  • Leading projects, from data collection to analysis and charting.
  • Assisting the Team Lead in managing capacity and resources.
  • Supervising junior analysts in Manila and providing feedback and quality assurance.
  • Ensuring quality of deliverables by performing quality assurance of analysts' work and maintaining data integrity of all research outputs.
  • Programming, testing, and editing online surveys.
  • Preparing projects for fieldwork, including project setup and quotas, and liaising with external panel providers to achieve sample.
  • Performing statistical analysis using standard company tools and adhering to company processes.
  • Performing higher level statistical analysis when required (e.g., multiple regression).

Essential

Skills and experience

  • Degree in Social Science, Communication Research, or Statistics.
  • Extensive knowledge in questionnaire development/survey uploading.
  • At least 5 years of experience in market research, data analytics and interpretation, and quality control of research output such as data tables and reports.
  • At least basic proficiency in Q software or some other statistical analysis or programming language.
  • Intermediate skills in MS Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written English communication.
  • Excellent attention to detail and good time management skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and autonomously with a ‘can do’ attitude.

Desirable

  • Previous experience working with clients

  • Interest in digital research tools and approaches
