Your Role As an AU/UK Senior Accountant, you will: Key Responsibilities Take ownership of internal and external reporting requirements, including monthly management reports, statutory reports, and vendor-facing financial summaries. Ensure accurate and timely preparation and submission of AU and UK tax obligations (e.g. BAS, IAS PAYG, Corporation Tax, VAT). Liaise with external stakeholders such as vendors, auditors, and tax authorities to meet compliance and reporting deadlines. Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes and templates, ensuring clarity, consistency, and accuracy. Collaborate with the finance team for month-end and year-end close processes. Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and accruals with high attention to detail. Assist in the design, development, and automation of financial models and dashboards. Keep abreast of taxation changes, statutory requirements, and accounting standards in AU and the UK. Contribute to internal audits, compliance checks, and control reviews. Provide ad hoc financial analysis and insights to support strategic business decisions. Attributes A detail-oriented mindset with a natural ability to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Highly organised, disciplined, and able to manage multiple reporting timelines Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights Comfortable working autonomously and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment Qualifications and experience CPA certification is required. A graduate of B.S.
