Job Description Excellent communication skills both verbal and written are required. This position involves working closely with our existing full‑time developer in developing features for frontend and backend systems. The company also handles eCommerce & fulfillment services for other partner companies, and some of the programming will involve integrating with their systems (and that of future partners). Responsibilities and Duties Write secure, clean code that scales with concurrency. Write unit, application level and system tests. Update and maintain the payment gateway system. Document code, concepts, business logic, and logistics. Design and develop new features and interfaces or update existing features using modern web programming paradigms, using requirements and specifications provided by 5Gstore managers and/or our partners. Build and maintain secure APIs. Qualifications Degree in computer science or relevant field. Must be able to do custom development without using frameworks. Experience with AJAX. Experience with REST/SOAP APIs including payment gateways. Experience with e‑commerce. Ability to manage multiple projects on tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment. Understanding of User Experience Design principles and best practices. Self‑motivated and a strong communicator. Fluency in all aspects of PHP development and the Software Development Lifecycle. Working knowledge of Linux. Must be able to work collaboratively with others. Must be an independent and critical thinker.
