Overview

Shift Lead - Operations, Sorting Center, SPX Express (Meycauayan, Bulacan)

SPX Express Manila, National Capital Region, Philippines

Responsibilities
  • In-charge in control performance of operation in the assigned shift in Sorting Center(s) (i.e.: on-time rate, lost rate, backlogs, etc.) via building and optimizing layouts, processes
  • In-charge of ensuring that every aspect and detail of the shift runs smoothly and efficiently, from Inbound to Outbound
  • Ensures aligned SOPs with other shifts and departments
  • Responsible for making sure that metrics are met
  • Develop strategies to achieve goals and provide team encouragement by communicating team goals and identifying areas for improvement
  • Generates and shares comprehensive and detailed reports about team performance, objectives, and deadlines
  • Coordinates with various departments
  • Reports any issues that arise during the shift to management
  • Coaching and guiding team members
Requirements
  • Strong performance management, communication and time management skills
  • Equivalent experience of a warehouse supervisor from 3 years and above; same industry experience is a plus. Having experience with warehouse automation is a plus.
  • Comfortable delivering and receiving frequent direct written and oral feedback
  • Critical thinking and continuous improvement mindset
  • Fluency in Google Sheet & Slides is MUST
  • Strong problem-solving, project management, communication, leadership skills
  • Ability to work with all levels of staff and management
