Sr. Infrastructure Reliability Engineer

Sr. Infrastructure Reliability Engineer (MongoDB DBA) To provide BAU support for MongoDB across Asia. The MongoDB DBA brings 5 plus years of experience in MongoDB installation, configuration and administration. Possess technical skills and experience in monitoring, troubleshooting, maintenance of MongoDB databases. Position Responsibilities Provides day-to-day support including installation, configuration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, backup and recovery of Mongo database Installation, configuration and maintenance of MongoDB clusters on-premise and Atlas Evaluate, Plan and perform Mongo DB major/minor upgrades MongoDB scaling across data centres and an in-depth understanding of MongoDB, including replica sets. Schema using Mongos. Backup & Recovery, Database optimization, hardening and Security maintenance. Backup and restore databases, collections as needed between environments using mongo utilities Conduct root cause analysis & implement pro-active measures. Monitor effectiveness of implemented measures Required Qualifications 5+ years of experience in MongoDB installation, configuration and administration Must have worked on production support with hands on experience on standalone, replication, sharding, clustering Experience in upgrading database versions, migrating data across multiple databases/Mongo Atlas and performed CRUD operations. Possess strong experience on query SQL tuning, performance optimization and data realignments Knowledge of managing a MongoDB cluster using Mongo's OpsManager tool Must be willing to work on rotational 24x7 Oncall support, planned/adhoc weekend support/changes and flexible to meet current and future business needs Good communication skills with Positive attitude, problem solving skills, multi-tasking and self-initiative qualities When you join our team We’ll empower you to learn and grow the career you want.
