Job Overview:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and strategic Business Controller for the Health Sector. The role will be responsible for overseeing financial management, controlling, and business performance monitoring, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. The Business Controller will work closely with the finance team, senior management, and relevant business units to provide accurate financial insights and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes for the health business unit.
  • Monitor actual performance against budgets, analyze variances, and provide actionable recommendations.
  • Prepare regular management reports, financial statements, and business reviews.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, company policies, and relevant regulations.
  • Partner with department heads to support financial and operational decision-making.
  • Implement and improve controlling processes, cost analysis, and profitability monitoring.
  • Lead financial risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Coordinate audits and liaise with external auditors as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Controller, Finance Manager, or similar role within healthcare, pharmaceutical, or related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of financial controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in financial software and ERP systems.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
