Job Summary

The Sales Officer (Retail) will lead a team of sales associates to meet company sales objectives across mall-based stores for multiple retail concepts. Key responsibilities include ensuring high-quality customer engagement, developing sales strategies and forecasts, preparing sales reports and administrative documents, and conducting refresher training. The position also requires modifying and communicating standard operating procedures (SOPs), creating staff schedules, managing performance issues, resolving conflicts, and providing support to other departments as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and monitor online and offline sales activities of the sales associates to achieve company sales objectives
  • Manage 5-8 company stores while being accountable for all sales and operating KPIs related to these stores
  • Be able to contribute in developing sales strategies and sales forecasts
  • Prepares sales reports and other admin-related documents (which includes Concept Stores documents if needed)
  • Be able to contribute in modifying/ adding SOPs. Ensure that it is well cascaded to the team.
  • Creation of staff schedule
  • Manage performance concerns and Assessments, handle disciplinary discussions and implement disciplinary actions
  • Be able to handle conflicts as part of customer management and provide timely fair decisions
  • Provide ad-hoc support to other departments (digital, marketing, procurement etc) as needed.
  • Be on top for any ARS or Mall-Admin related concern
  • Conduct frequent mall visits based on schedule, at least 2 to 3 days per week.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of any bachelor’s degree, preferably business/ management related
  • At least 5 years Sales experience; with proven experience in closing deals
  • Preferably with at least 3 years of mall-related experience
  • With at least 5 year of experience in people management or supervisory roles within the sales industry
  • Excellent customer service skills (verbal and non-verbal form)
  • Analytical and strategical skills
  • Good command of the English language
  • Must be adaptable to shifting schedule, working on weekends (if needed)
  • Must be open to be assigned in mall-based stores
  • Ability to work in a high-pressure and dynamic environment
