Overview

ByteDance is hiring for the role of Search Operation Quality Assurance - Ads in Pasig, National Capital Region, Philippines.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily operational tasks such as quality inspection, guidelines and process optimization, queue assignment, and handling escalations for the evaluation project.
  • Work closely with stakeholders to stay updated on guideline developments and provide feedback on implementation and execution.
  • Conduct daily audits on an internal system and provide error analysis and feedback to stakeholders (R&D & Product Manager).
  • Monitor the quality scores of evaluators and conduct root cause analysis with the management team.
  • Monitor project data, record daily output and quality scores, prepare data analysis/reports for projects, and validate reports and data provided to stakeholders/partners.
  • Localize guidelines and design training schedules; coordinate with key stakeholders to ensure a successful go-live within the targeted timeframe.
  • Deliver process/product/guideline training to new joiners.
  • Assist in setting up product knowledge tests, share results, and work with stakeholders to improve product knowledge of the team.
  • Be able to work with sensitive content as part of the role (e.g., content related to child safety, harm, or other sensitive topics) when required.
  • Undertake any additional responsibilities not specifically listed above.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 1–2 years of relevant experience.
  • Fluent Tagalog with English as a working language.
  • Background in QA, particularly in search engine evaluation.
  • Overseas work or training experience is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with search engines, social media algorithms, and SEO.
  • Strong ability to learn and understand new concepts.
  • Proficiency in common office software; labeling experience is preferred.
  • Deep understanding of local culture and internet usage habits.
  • Attention to detail and ability to use data analysis to identify trends.
  • Preferred Qualifications:
    Overseas working/training is a plus.
  • Familiar with search engines and social media platforms; strong knowledge of local internet usage.
  • Familiar with common office software; labeling experience is preferred.
