About the Job We’re looking for a Bookkeeper to join our growing team at ClockworX. In this role, you’ll be responsible for providing end-to-end bookkeeping services to our New Zealand clients. You’ll handle daily financial operations including accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliation, payroll processing, and monthly financial reporting. You’ll play an important role in ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance across all transactions, while supporting our client managers to deliver high-quality accounting services. This position is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, experience using Xero for NZ and/or AU clients, and a passion for delivering excellent client service in a dynamic, collaborative environment. Key Responsibilities Process invoicing, accounts receivable, and accounts payable transactions accurately and efficiently Perform regular bank reconciliations and maintain financial records in Xero and Dext Prepare creditor payment runs and process internal business expense claims, credit cards, and fuel cards Reconcile creditor statements and resolve any discrepancies promptly Support the Finance team in ensuring adherence to internal policies and procedures Assist with monthly accounts preparation, reporting, and compliance requirements Maintain and update automatic payments and filing of creditor invoices Provide backup support for Junior Accounts Analysts as needed. Perform other ad hoc finance and administrative tasks to support the team About You You’re an organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper who enjoys working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. You communicate well, manage multiple priorities with ease, and take pride in delivering accurate, high-quality work. Here’s what you’ll bring to the role: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English At least 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting experience, ideally supporting New Zealand or Australian SMEs Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook Hands-on experience using Xero, Receipt Bank (Dext) and Hubdoc High level of accuracy and attention to detail Proven ability to work effectively with global or offshore clients Willingness to work in a hybrid setup (2 days onsite, 3 days work-from-home) as part of our collaborative and flexible work culture What's in It for You At ClockworX, we believe great work deserves great rewards.
