Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of the finance department, including transactions related to general ledger, receivables, payables, payroll and financial reporting.
- Analyze company financials and oversee financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and financial risk management.
- Maintain accounting policies and processes in compliance with local and international accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with department heads to support financial decision-making and lead initiatives for cost-saving and financial optimization strategies.
- Act as a liaison with external auditors and manage the preparation of audit documents.
- Leadership and team management responsibilities to ensure professional development and high performance.
- Foster a culture of transparency and accountability in financial management within the bustling Manufacturing & Industrial Supplies & Services environment of Ito-Seikakusho Philippines Corp.
- Job Title: Accounting Manager
- Educational Qualifications: Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA certification is highly preferred but not required.
- Experience Level: 5 to 10 years of experience in accounting management with a proven track record in a similar role.
- Skills and Competencies: Proficiency in Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Budgeting, Audit, Reconciliations, General Ledger, and Financial Statements; strong understanding of General Ledger Accounting; expertise in Accounting Receivable and Payable management.
- Responsibilities and Duties: Oversee daily accounting operations, ensure financial compliance, prepare budgets, manage month-end and year-end close processes, conduct financial audits, and report to senior management on financial status.
- Working Conditions: Office-based role with a possibility of working with cross-departmental teams and occasional travel for company audits or professional development opportunities.
- Qualities and Traits: Strong leadership skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, analytical and critical thinking, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
