Overview

As a General Accountant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the financial health and integrity of the company by managing various accounting functions. This position involves maintaining financial records, preparing financial statements, analyzing financial data, and providing support for audits and budgeting processes. The General Accountant must possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in accounting principles and software.

Responsibilities
  • Financial Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate financial records, ledgers, and journals.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial statements, reports, and budgets.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting principles, laws, and regulations.
  • Transaction Management: Oversee financial transactions, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Auditing Support: Assist in internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Budget Management: Contribute to budget creation and monitor spending against budgets.
  • Analysis and Recommendations: Analyze financial data, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements or cost-saving measures.
  • Collaboration: Work with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance roles, with progressive responsibility. Experience in a similar role, preferably in the retail, healthcare, aesthetics, or beauty industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulations.
  • Ability to analyze financial data, identify trends, and generate insights.
  • Accurate record-keeping and meticulous attention to detail are crucial.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with various teams and presenting financial information
  • Ability to identify issues, propose solutions, and make informed decisions.

Salary: P20,000 - 25,000

Working Schedule: Monday - Friday

Working Hours: Compressed Work Week 9:00 A.M. - 7:30 P.M.
