SAP Data Analyst – QM/PTM

We are seeking an experienced SAP Data Analyst with strong expertise in the QM (Quality Management) and PTM (Product and Test Management) domains. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting data to drive insights and improvements across quality and product performance metrics. This role involves working closely with cross‑functional teams, including Quality, Product, and Engineering, to ensure data‑driven decisions are embedded in business processes. Experience: 5+ years Engagement: 6 months (contractual) Key Responsibilities Analyze large datasets within SAP’s QM and PTM systems to identify trends, anomalies, and actionable insights. Collaborate with business and technical teams to define KPIs, reporting requirements, and data validation processes. Develop and maintain dashboards and visual reports using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik. Translate business requirements into functional data models and analytical solutions. Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and consistency across multiple data sources. Provide insights and recommendations to support process improvement, product quality, and operational efficiency. Work closely with SAP QM/PTM teams (if applicable) to understand underlying data structures and reporting mechanisms. Perform root‑cause analysis for quality‑related issues and provide data‑backed recommendations. Automate data extraction and reporting processes where possible. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in Data Analysis, preferably in Quality Management or Product/Test Management domains. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with proficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.). Experience working with SAP QM/PTM modules or similar enterprise systems is highly desirable. Knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and statistical analysis. Ability to interpret complex datasets and communicate insights effectively to non‑technical stakeholders. Excellent communication and collaboration skills with cross‑functional teams. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Python/R for data analysis and automation. Familiarity with manufacturing, production quality, or product lifecycle data. Understanding of quality standards and metrics (e.g., defect rates, test coverage, yield rates). Exposure to cloud‑based analytics platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.
