About The Role: We are seeking a dynamic and data-driven E-Commerce Director to become the architect of the brand’s digital growth. This is a strategic, high-impact role for a leader who has lived and breathed the rapid-paced environment of major e-commerce and social commerce platforms. You will be responsible for defining and executing end-to-end e-commerce strategy, from customer acquisition and conversion to retention and loyalty. If you have scaled brands on platforms like TikTok Shop, Shopee, or Lazada and are passionate about building a purpose-driven brand, this is your chance to make a profound impact. Role Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership & Vision: Develop and own the overarching e-commerce strategy and P&L, setting ambitious yet achievable targets for revenue, customer acquisition, and market share. Lead the e-commerce team, fostering a culture of innovation, data-obsession, and agile execution. Serve as the key stakeholder on the leadership team, reporting directly to the CEO on e-commerce performance, market trends, and growth opportunities. Platform & Marketplace Mastery: Architect and optimize multi-channel presence, with a heavy emphasis on dominating various key platforms. Translate your deep platform knowledge (algorithms, advertising products, seller tools) into a competitive advantage for the brand. Forge and manage strong relationships with key platform partner managers to secure promotional opportunities and early access to beta features. Data-Driven Performance Marketing: Oversee all digital marketing channels (Paid Social, SEM, Affiliate, Influencer, Email/SMS) to drive efficient customer acquisition and maximize ROI. Implement a test-and-learn culture, constantly optimizing campaigns based on data insights from platforms like Google Analytics, Meta, and TikTok Ads Manager. Leverage customer data to build sophisticated segmentation and personalization strategies. E-Commerce Operations & Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO): Own the end-to-end customer journey, from landing page experience to checkout and fulfillment. Drive a rigorous CRO roadmap through A/B testing, user experience (UX) improvements, and personalization tactics. Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure inventory accuracy, efficient order fulfillment, and a best-in-class post-purchase experience. Brand Stewardship & Content Strategy: Work closely with the marketing and content teams to ensure all e-commerce touchpoints authentically represent the brand ethos of nature, wellness, and sustainability. Develop a content strategy tailored for each platform, especially for video-first platforms like TikTok, to drive engagement and sales. Build and manage a scalable influencer and creator program to amplify brand reach and credibility. Role Qualifications & Experience: Required: 8+ years of experience in e-commerce, with at least 3-5 years in a senior leadership role (Head of E-Commerce, Director, etc.). Proven track record of scaling an e-commerce business, demonstrable through significant revenue growth and market expansion. Deep, hands-on experience with the advertising tools, seller centers, and algorithmic nuances of at least two of the following: TikTok Shop, Shopee, or Lazada. Candidates with direct experience at these companies are highly preferred. Expertise in P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and ROI analysis. Strong background in performance marketing and analytics platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, TikTok for Business). Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with experience building, mentoring, and inspiring high-performing teams.
