Join to apply for the Cloud Engineer (AU Fintech, WFH) role at ConnectOS Schedule: Monday to Friday (6:00AM - 3:00PM PHT) Required Skills 3 years of experience in a DevOps / Cloud Engineering role Proven expertise with AWS technologies and services (experiences with Azure or Google Cloud also accepted) Extensive experience with infrastructure as code and CI/CD platforms/pipelines (e.g., GitLab, Harness, BuildKite) Experience working with Configuration Management tools such as Ansible, Python, Chef, or Puppet Ability to manage AWS infrastructure using Terraform or CloudFormation Previous experience working in an Agile environment is essential Nice to Have Strong interpersonal and communication skills Encourage collaboration and provide support when challenges arise Ability to manage multiple stakeholders from both technical and non‑technical backgrounds Collaborative and innovative mindset with a CI/CD focus on improving existing systems and processes AWS DevOps Engineer, Developer, or other relevant AWS certification A degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field is advantageous What Will You Do? Lead architectural design and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust, cloud‑native solutions on AWS. Build and optimize high‑velocity CI/CD pipelines for rapid software delivery, supporting the full development lifecycle. Design, deploy, and manage scalable containerized applications using AWS ECS and EKS, and develop serverless solutions with AWS Lambda. Administer and optimize managed AWS data services such as RDS and ElastiCache, and implement event‑driven architectures using SQS. Implement robust security best practices, monitoring, patch management, and vulnerability remediation across all AWS environments. Ensure high availability and operational excellence by designing systems to meet stringent uptime SLAs. Continuously evaluate and integrate emerging AWS technologies, driving continuous improvement and enhancing platform capabilities.
