Finance Manager – Space Matrix Location: Quezon City, National Capital Region, Philippines. Purpose of the Role As our Finance Manager for the Philippines, you will be working closely with management and will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory compliance, financial reporting, budgeting and forecasts, taxation, cash‑flow management, internal controls, and the production of analytical reports to support strategic business decisions. What You’ll Do Form close and trusting relationships with the management team and functional leads to monitor and assess financial results, identifying growth potential and operating efficiency. Drive and lead the financial planning and budgeting process, from short‑term to long‑term plans and forecasts. Carry out performance analysis, variance analysis, and reporting. Analyze and recommend process improvements. Ensure accuracy and timeliness of financial and management reporting and analyses. Responsible for full statutory and regulatory compliance, especially with BIR requirements. Review contracts, RFPs, and pitches for commercial/financial clauses. Provide insights to facilitate business decision‑making and effective business management. Monitor project profitability and highlight variances with recommended actions. Manage cash flow, ensure billing and collections, and maintain a healthy cash position. Prepare and present business and finance insights in leadership meetings. Drive change and implement systems and processes. Lead, delegate, and develop the finance team. Own financial initiatives and change management. Ideal Candidate Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a professional accountancy qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA). Minimum 3+ years of commercial, business, and finance controlling experience. Strong knowledge of national and international accounting standards, local statutory compliance, local taxes, and project accounting. Experience with SAP S/4HANA is an added advantage. Self‑initiative with a high level of integrity. A strong business‑finance partnership mindset and effective communication skills. Attention to detail while maintaining a broad business perspective.
