About the role
You will research strategic accounts, engage senior supply-chain and operations leaders by phone, email, and LinkedIn, and earn conversations through relevant, consultative outreach. This is not a call-center or high-volume appointment-setting role. Success means creating credible conversations with the right enterprise buyers and developing opportunities that can progress into pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and prioritize named-account lists across manufacturing, consumer products, wholesale distribution, foodservice, and retail.
- Research each account's planning environment, business priorities, technology landscape, and likely buying committee.
- Engage VPs and directors of Supply Chain, Demand Planning, S&OP, Operations, Inventory, Procurement, and IT through coordinated phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
- Lead confident first conversations, uncover relevant planning challenges, and qualify business need, authority, timing, and fit.
- Schedule well‑prepared discovery meetings and provide complete context and notes to the company's sales leadership.
- Maintain accurate activity, contact, opportunity, and next‑step data in the CRM.
- Review performance weekly and continuously improve targeting, messaging, talk tracks, and conversion rates.
About You
- 3+ years of successful outbound B2B technology sales or sales-development experience.
- Demonstrated experience prospecting into enterprise or upper-mid-market organizations, ideally companies with $100M+ in revenue.
- Experience with enterprise SaaS, ERP, supply-chain, manufacturing, planning, analytics, WMS, TMS, procurement, or related business software.
- Excellent spoken and written English, with the confidence to engage North American executives by telephone.
- Strong business curiosity and the ability to understand and communicate a complex software value proposition.
- Experience with Salesforce or HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and modern sales‑engagement tools.
- A disciplined, self‑directed working style and availability during US Eastern and Central business hours.
- Experience selling SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, Infor, supply‑chain planning, demand planning, S&OP, inventory optimization, manufacturing, logistics, or enterprise transformation solutions.
Benefits
- Competitive base salary plus performance compensation tied to qualified opportunities and pipeline.
- Direct access to company leadership and structured training in supply-chain planning and the company's platform.
- The opportunity to help build an enterprise go-to-market motion for an innovative AI-powered planning solution.
