Founded by a family with over a decade of business experience, they are dedicated to providing comprehensive tax solutions to individuals, sole traders, partnerships, trusts, and companies. Their services include tax preparation, BAS lodgement, bookkeeping, and strategic business advice, all tailored to meet the unique needs of each client. Their team is passionate about helping clients navigate the complexities of the tax system, maximize refunds, and build financial security.

We are seeking a Tax Accountant with expertise in Australian taxation who can hit the ground running in a client-facing environment. This role requires technical expertise in Company & Trust Tax Returns, Trust Distributions, FBT, CGT Calculations, and Division 7A loans, as well as the ability to mentor and collaborate with our offshore bookkeeping team.

Work hours: Monday - Friday, 7AM - 4PM AU Time | 9AM - 6PM PH Time

Work set-up: Remote

• Company and trust tax returns
• Fringe Benefits Tax (FBT) calculations
• Capital Gains Tax (CGT) event management
• Division 7A loan compliance and structuring
• Mentor and collaborate with the client’s offshore bookkeeping team
• Provide support in business activity statements (BAS) preparation and bookkeeping processes to ensure consistency and quality across operations

• 3-5 years of experience in Australian accounting and taxation
• Proficient in Australian tax legislation and compliance
• Familiarity with Australian Tax Office (ATO) systems and compliance deadlines
• Xero and XPM proficiency
• Background FYIDocs is advantageous
• Highly accurate with a sharp eye for detail
• An excellent communicator who can train and guide junior or offshore staff
• A self-starter who can work autonomously with minimal supervision
• Motivated to grow with the business and open to taking on more responsibility
