Job Qualifications Responsibilities General Accounting Ensure that financial transactions are recorded in accordance with local accounting principles and compliance regulations. Prepare, review, and process journal entries, and ensure accuracy of the general ledger. Monitor accounting activities and ensure compliance with local tax laws, corporate regulations, and company policies. Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) Manage and review AP and AR activities to ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions. Oversee the preparation of vendor payments and ensure proper documentation and approvals. Ensure timely invoicing and collection of accounts receivable to maintain healthy cash flow. Payroll Checking Verify the accuracy of payroll data, including tax deductions, employee benefits, and other related items. Ensure compliance with Philippine labor laws and tax regulations regarding employee compensation. Yearly Financial Reporting Prepare annual financial reports in compliance with local accounting standards (e.g., PFRS/IFRS). Support the Finance Manager in preparing the companys annual budget and financial forecasts. Ensure timely submission of audited financial statements to relevant stakeholders. Audit and Regulatory Reporting Assist in internal audits, including coordination with auditors and preparation of necessary documentation. Prepare reports required by government agencies, such as the BIR, SEC, and CDC, ensuring full compliance with regulations. Respond to audit inquiries and work with regulatory bodies to address any concerns. Analyze the financial impact of business transactions and ensure accurate recording of financial data in XERO accounting software. Provide insights on financial performance and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency and profitability. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and interpret financial data for decision-making purposes. Requirements CPA (Certified Public Accountant) preferred but not required. At least 4 years of experience in accounting or finance, with a strong background in general accounting, compliance, and financial reporting. Prior experience in managing AP/AR, payroll, and audit processes. Familiarity with Philippine accounting and tax regulations. Proficiency in XERO accounting software or similar ERP systems. Strong understanding of local financial regulations and compliance requirements (BIR, SEC, etc.). Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. High level of integrity and professionalism. Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
