The Human Resource Officer will play a key role in supporting Qi Hotpot’s restaurant operations by overseeing the recruitment, training, and employee relations processes. This individual will serve as a point of contact for all HR-related matters, ensuring that all HR practices align with the company’s values and objectives while creating a positive and productive work environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. Recruitment & Staffing: -Manage the full recruitment cycle for all restaurant staff (front-line, kitchen, management). -Post job openings, screen resumes, conduct interviews, and facilitate the hiring process. -Ensure a smooth on-boarding process for new hires, including orientation and training schedules. -Maintain a pipeline of potential candidates to meet staffing needs. 2. Employee Relations & Support: -Act as the main HR contact for all employees, addressing any HR-related concerns or conflicts. -Promote a positive, respectful work environment by resolving disputes and mediating conflicts. -Provide guidance on company policies, procedures, and benefits to staff. 3. Training & Development: -Coordinate ongoing training and development opportunities for staff, including food safety, customer service, and other role-specific training. -Ensure employees are up-to-date with all certifications and safety standards. -Encourage employee growth through performance evaluations and feedback sessions. 4. Payroll & Benefits Administration: -Ensure accurate and timely processing of employee payroll. -Administer benefits packages and assist employees with benefit-related queries. -Maintain accurate records of employee attendance, overtime, and other HR-related documentation. 5. Compliance & Documentation: -Ensure adherence to all local labor laws and company policies. -Maintain proper records of employee documents, contracts, and performance appraisals. -Handle work-related injuries and assist in the accident reporting and worker’s compensation process. 6. Health & Safety: -Support the restaurant in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment. -Conduct regular safety audits and ensure all staff are following proper health and safety protocols. -Promote employee well-being through wellness programs and initiatives. 7. Employee Engagement & Retention: -Organize team-building activities and events to promote employee morale. -Help create and maintain a recognition program to reward high-performing employees. -Monitor employee satisfaction and work closely with management to improve retention rates. Qualifications: -Education: A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. -Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in the hospitality or restaurant industry. Skills: -Strong communication and interpersonal skills. -Excellent problem-solving abilities. -Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices. -Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. -Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Personal Qualities: -Empathetic, approachable, and approachable demeanor. -High attention to detail and organizational skills. -Strong work ethic and ability to maintain confidentiality.
