IT DevOps Engineer

PETNET Inc. Makati, National Capital Region, Philippines DevOps Engineer Research and fix technical issues, conduct root cause analysis for production defects, build tools to improve customer experience, and design software to interact with internal back-end systems. Apply fixes and updates, provide Level 2 support, create tools that reduce error rates and enhance the customer experience, integrate internal back-end systems when creating applications, investigate the root cause of production errors and resolve technical issues. KEY FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES IT Service Delivery & Systems Management Recognizing project KPIs and client needs. Organizing the activities, participation in project management, and team structure. Taking care of external interfaces and stakeholders. Configuring the necessary infrastructure and tools. Whenever feasible, promoting and developing automated procedures. Root cause analysis and incident management Choosing and implementing suitable CI/CD tools. Build a pipeline for continuous integration, continuous development, and continuous deployment (CI/CD Pipeline) and aim for continuous improvement. Tracking and evaluating KPIs and customer experience Performance Development Possess the technical know-how to examine, evaluate, and confirm the software code created for the project. Methods for troubleshooting and resolving code errors. Coaching and mentoring the group members. Overseeing the regular reporting of progress to the customer and management. Communication and coordination both with consumers and inside the team Service Reliability and Uptime Identify issues. Manage failures automatically. Make strategies for catastrophe recovery. Maintain a dependable and operational system. Reduce the impact of malfunctioning systems and stop them from producing more problems. Compliance and Governance Processes are monitored for compliance over their whole lifespan, and new or updated procedures are developed to enhance efficiency and reduce waste. Putting in place different IT infrastructure, development, testing, and automation tools. Establishing and defining DevOps operation development, testing, release, update, and support procedures. Finding and implementing cybersecurity solutions through ongoing risk management and vulnerability assessment. Qualification Education. A bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, or a similar discipline. Experience. Solid background in software development, IT management, or a related field. Strong proficiency with programming languages like Java, Python, or Ruby. Knowledge of DevOps technologies and tools, including Ansible, Docker, & Kubernetes. Familiarity with cloud computing systems like Google Cloud, AWS, and Azure. Strong capacity to solve problems and perform well under duress. Outstanding teamwork and communication abilities.
