We’re Hiring: DevOps Engineer (Rockwell, Makati City) We’re seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build, and maintain the cloud infrastructure that powers our enterprise systems. Office-based: Rockwell, Makati City Employment Type: Full-time Minimum Experience: 5 years Role Overview You’ll be responsible for setting up, maintaining, and optimizing our cloud infrastructure across multiple AWS accounts under a single organization. Our current environment primarily runs on AWS, but as we scale, we plan to explore Alibaba Cloud as a potential future expansion for multi-region support and flexibility. Your role will focus on automation, scalability, deployment efficiency, and system reliability - ensuring our environments are secure, observable, and built to handle high traffic and continuous deployment. Key Responsibilities Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure using AWS (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Lambda, SQS, etc.) Set up and manage multi-account AWS Organizations with proper tagging, IAM roles, and cost tracking Configure and optimize PHP-FPM and Nginx environments for production applications Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or equivalent) Automate provisioning and deployments using Terraform or CloudFormation Manage RDS (MySQL/Aurora) setup, backups, replication, and performance optimization Implement monitoring, alerting, and logging through CloudWatch, Grafana, or similar tools Ensure infrastructure security through IAM policies, VPC configuration, and network access control Perform cost optimization and resource allocation across AWS services Collaborate closely with backend engineers to streamline deployments and improve reliability Qualifications At least 5 years of professional experience in DevOps, Cloud Infrastructure, or Site Reliability Engineering Strong hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, RDS, Lambda, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch, IAM, VPC) Experience in setting up and maintaining PHP-FPM and Nginx on Linux servers Familiarity with Alibaba Cloud or interest in learning it for future expansion Proficiency in Bash or Python scripting for automation Experience with Docker, Terraform, or CloudFormation Skilled in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines Solid understanding of networking, SSL, DNS, load balancing, and autoscaling Familiarity with Redis, SQS, and message-driven systems Knowledge of system monitoring, logging, and incident response best practices Bonus Points Experience managing multi-account AWS setups Background in security hardening and compliance (IAM policies, encryption, auditing) Exposure to serverless architectures and microservices Familiarity with cost optimization and AWS billing management Experience with Kubernetes or container orchestration tools Why Join Us Office located in Rockwell, Makati City - premium workspace and collaborative team culture Be part of a small, high-impact engineering team building scalable, cloud-ready systems Opportunity to lead infrastructure initiatives and shape our future Alibaba Cloud expansion strategy How to Apply Send your cover letter + resume to Use the subject line: DevOps Engineer – Your Name (e.g., DevOps Engineer – Juan Dela Cruz) #J-18808-Ljbffr
