Accountant (w/ AUS Background - Office based, Kawit Cavite)

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Accountant to join our Clients’ accounting team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accounting tasks: manage AP/AR, reconciliations, reports, tax returns, compliance, and financial support. Work Set Up Employment Type: Full Time Shift Schedule: Mon-Fri, 6:00 am to 3:00 pm Work Setup: Onsite Location: Cavite Client Industry: Dairy Product Manufacturing Key Responsibilities Undertake a range of related financial management tasks, including but not limited to accounts payable, accounts receivable, other payments, and routine reporting; ensure compliance with Australian Accounting Standards, statutory and taxation requirements and procedures. Prepare monthly bank reconciliation reports regarding all cash deposits to the bank, performing daily financial transactions such as verifying, calculating and posting accounts receivable data. Process accounts and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedures. Perform day to day financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, entering, posting and recording accounts receivables information. Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted. Verify discrepancies and resolve clients invoice issues. Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending invoice reminders and contacting clients. Assist in preparing financial statements and management reports. Submitting taxation returns such as GST, BAS/IAS and liaison with external tax specialists. Performing ad-hoc analysis pro-actively or as directed, to provide performance insights that aid growth and focus appropriate resource allocation. Maintain and regularly reconcile the credit card receipts, ensure that taxi vouchers, travel passes, e-tags, petrol cards and other similar resources are appropriately controlled. Perform compliance obligations at all times. Perform other administrative duties as required. Supports the Finance/Accounts Department as required. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting field // CA/CPA or equivalent is highly regarded but not essential. 5 years of experience in a related role. High level of accuracy and attention to detail. Demonstrated knowledge of accounting software systems such as Xero. Experienced in using HubSpot and Web Ninja. Advanced Excel skills. Superior organisational skills including a demonstrated ability to manage and prioritise tasks to meet tight deadlines. Strong customer service skills with the ability to respond to enquiries in a timely manner. With a solid understanding of financial statistics and accounting principles. Confident communicator with highly developed written and verbal skills.
