Regulatory Reporting Analyst, Officer

Location: Citi Taguig, National Capital Region, Philippines Regulatory Reporting Analyst, Officer Hybrid (partial in-person, partial remote) – Junior Analyst, Officer within the Local Regulatory Reporting (LRR) team. Job Background and Purpose Citi is a leading global bank present in 100+ countries, with 16 in Asia. Central banks and other regulatory bodies require timely and accurate reporting of prudential requirements and monetary statistics. Citi’s RegInsight platform, together with standard data stores, supports evolving regulatory reporting needs. In Asia, RegInsight for Local Regulatory Reporting is being rolled out across countries; the centralized team supports Asia country programs and reporting processes. Key Responsibilities RegInsight implementation: Review local regulatory reports across the region to identify common reports and set up classification standards. Identify and analyze each country’s critical data elements and attributes for LRR. Perform data quality review for data from systems other than Genesis. Resolve data issues by interacting with multiple functions including country Finance, FRSS, and Global Data Services teams. Liaise with country Finance SMEs, Technology colleagues of GFTS, and other stakeholders to write LRR rules in Rule Harmony. Assist countries in designing and performing UAT and parallel testing. Support implementation of other LRR projects, e.g., Local RWA Optima RegInsight Implementation program. Others: Assist countries to institutionalize global LRR Governance standards and processes for issue tracking and reporting, GRITT maintenance, and oversight facilitation. Perform ongoing review (e.g., EUCs) to standardize and optimize current LRR processes, increasing efficiency and enhancing controls. Support RegInsight LRR change management activities. Provide support to in‑country Finance teams. Lead or participate in future process migration activities. Development Value Opportunity to work with people from different functions and countries. Knowledge and Experience 4‑6 years of work experience in accounting (IFRS, local or US GAAP) financial reporting/auditing role. Prior experience in a regulatory reporting role is an advantage. Excellent analytical skills. Advanced MS Excel knowledge. Qualifications University/College degree in finance/accounting/IT. Competencies Highly motivated with analytical & problem‑solving abilities. Ability to interpret & implement regulatory guidelines & professional standards. Demonstrated ability to complete tasks within tight deadlines. Excellent attention to detail and ability to handle large volumes of data. Can work under pressure in different locations and in virtual teams. Creative, proactive, and flexible. Enthusiastic team player. Preferred/Optional Ability to apply ETL techniques to transform data into usable formats. Basic Oracle/SQL/Access knowledge is an added advantage. Knowledge of an additional Asian language. Project management experience and other IT skills.
