Our client is looking for a Bookkeeper who will maintain accurate financial records, process transactions, and support financial reporting. This role will also handle payroll management.

9:00 AM – 6:00 PM Pacific Daylight Time (12:00 AM – 9:00 AM Philippine Standard Time), follows Philippine holidays

Essential Functions
  • Create or maintain records of financial transactions for clients, using various accounting systems
  • Process invoices and accounts receivable
  • Pay bills, handle expense management software, and accounts payable
  • Manage payroll through a payroll service
  • Handle other accounting entries and transactions
  • Handle daily bookkeeping, reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger account balances, reconcile and balance accounts, verify, allocate, and post details of business transactions to the accounting system
  • Provide support for audits by external entities, prepare supporting schedules, gather information, and provide analysis as requested
  • Compile reports to show statistics, such as cash receipts and expenditures, accounts payable and receivable, profit and loss, and other items pertinent to the operation of the business
  • Perform payroll and payroll tax-related returns
  • Analyze financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and prepare a balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports to summarize the current and projected company financial position
  • Verify contracts, orders, and vouchers, and prepare reports to substantiate individual transactions before settlement
Qualifications
  • A Bachelor’s degree in the related field is preferred
  • 3 + years of full-charge bookkeeper/staff accountant experience, including account reconciliation and work paper preparation experience
  • Prior experience with manufacturing or construction is required
  • Experience in general ledger through financial statements and online bill pay experience
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience in a multi-client environment
  • Strong organization, oral and written communication skills
  • Aptitude in data management, analytics, and reporting preparation
  • Ability to function in an autonomous environment—independent worker, self-directed
