Chief Mechanic

Overview We are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Chief Mechanic to lead maintenance and repair operations for a fleet of heavy equipment and commercial vehicles. The role involves diagnosing mechanical, hydraulic, and basic electrical issues, supervising repair work, and ensuring equipment runs efficiently and safely. Responsibilities Oversee preventive maintenance and major repair work for equipment such as excavators, backhoes, dump trucks, mixer trucks, loaders, and forklifts. Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues with a high level of expertise. Lead a team of mechanics and provide hands-on training to junior staff. Ensure all work complies with quality and safety standards. Coordinate with operations for timely servicing and repairs. Maintain service records and monitor equipment condition. Qualifications Minimum 5 years of relevant experience. Expert-level skills in mechanical repairs (10/10) , hydraulics (9/10) , and electrical systems (7/10) .
