Salary Range : ₱18,000 - ₱20,000 Work Setup : Onsite Shift Schedule : Day Shift Location : Davao City The role The Accounting Officer (Supervisory) is responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This role supervises accounting processes, oversees financial data analysis, and provides recommendations to support management in decision-making. Responsibilities Supervise and maintain accurate accounting records, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations. Prepare, review, and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports. Monitor budget performance, conduct variance analysis, and recommend cost-control measures. Ensure compliance with tax regulations and oversee the preparation and submission of statutory reports (BIR, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, etc.). Manage and guide accounting staff to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and adherence to company policies and deadlines. Review and enhance accounting processes to improve accuracy, efficiency, and compliance. Coordinate with internal departments, external auditors, and government agencies as necessary. Safeguard financial data by ensuring integrity, confidentiality, and proper internal controls. What we're looking for Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field. Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive accounting experience. Experience in budget preparation, cost monitoring, and variance analysis. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting standards, and bookkeeping practices. Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar) and advanced MS Excel skills. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. High attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational ability. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for dealing with colleagues, management, and external stakeholders.
