Payroll Tax Team Lead (Night Shift) Location: 6750 Building, Makati City, Philippines. About The Role We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll Tax Team Lead. This position is based in Makati City, Philippines. Key Responsibilities Compliance Leadership: Oversee payroll tax administration for U.S. Federal, State, and Expatriate taxes. Ensure timely filing and payment of all payroll tax obligations. Monitor regulatory changes and implement necessary process updates. Team Management: Provide leadership, coaching, and guidance to the Payroll Tax Team. Build a high‑performing team through regular feedback and development plans. Allocate resources effectively and monitor performance against benchmarks. Stakeholder Collaboration: Partner with HR, Finance, and external vendors to ensure accurate tax reporting. Influence decision‑making for payroll projects and system enhancements. Support payroll tax compliance during mergers, acquisitions, and organizational changes. Process & System Oversight: Oversee migration and implementation of payroll tax processes. Ensure proper configuration and troubleshooting of payroll systems (Workday, SAP, Alteryx, AssignmentPro). Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Governance & Data Management: Maintain payroll records in compliance with retention policies and data privacy standards. Ensure adherence to internal controls and audit requirements. About You We encourage applications from motivated individuals with a keen interest in the energy industry. Knowledge, Skills, and Experience Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Experience: Minimum 5 years of U.S. payroll tax experience, including multi‑state and expatriate taxation. At least 2 years in a supervisory or leadership role. Technical Skills: Proficiency in payroll systems (Workday, SAP, ADP) and reporting tools. Strong understanding of U.S. Federal and State tax regulations. Soft Skills: Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Ability to adapt to changing business conditions and regulatory environments.
