Overview

Join to apply for the Cloud Applications Consultant role at OpenText . The Cloud Applications Consultant is an individual contributor who acts as a primary point of contact for implementing customers’ requests regarding addition of new trading partners, document types, and connection types.

Responsibilities
  • Engages the client to obtain EDI requirements, ensuring the completeness and accuracy of map packages and requirements documentation while developing and maintaining good customer relations.
  • Analyzes customer requirements, data integrations and interfaces.
  • Delivers day to day implementation requests of Trading Partner and map configurations into the OpenText Managed Services systems.
  • Implements changes for existing data integrations.
  • Follows policies and best practice mapping to define map rules based on client’s requirements.
  • Consistently creates test cases/scenarios, forms test files, runs tests and evaluates reports.
  • Investigates and conducts root-cause analysis for issues/defects raised by client during client testing.
  • Delivers project status updates to clients, delivery/project managers and counterparts as necessary.
What It Takes
  • You are a graduate of Computer Science and/or other technical disciplines.
  • You are knowledgeable of programming e.g. Perl, C#, C++, Java, JavaScript, etc.
  • You have a strong customer focus and customer satisfaction orientation.
  • You demonstrate problem solving skills and logical thinking techniques with excellent attention to detail; ability to identify and analyze problems and provide solutions; develops reasonable options when required for decision making.
  • You have excellent teamwork and collaboration skills; you inspire and motivate others toward goal accomplishments and sustain cooperative working relationships.
  • You can handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, work independently, and possess effective time management skills.
  • You are willing to be on-call beyond normal working hours and on weekends.
  • You are willing to work on any shifts (ASPAC, EMEA or US).
