Responsibilities
  • Automate test suites from scratch and extend the test coverage to reduce production impacts and post-release fixes
  • Establish testing environments
  • Perform defect detection
  • Be embedded into the team, working closely with developers in a DevOps model for seamless collaboration and improved workflow
  • Operate within an agile environment
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent work experience
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in QA automation
  • Knowledge of frontend test automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, Cypress)
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines
  • Proficient in a scripting language, e.g. TypeScript or Python
  • Proficient in using GIT for version control, including command-line operations, branch management, and repository handling
  • Good knowledge of cloud computing, including cloud infrastructure and platform services (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and cloud-based software applications (IaaS, PaaS or SaaS)
  • Knowledge of Linux, Virtual Machines, Kubernetes, Microservices and Docker Containers is a strong plus
