About the role We are seeking an experienced Oncology Pharmacist to join our dedicated team at We Hope Medical Clinic in Imus City, Cavite. As an Oncology Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive pharmaceutical care to our oncology patients, ensuring the safe and effective use of chemotherapy and other cancer-related medications. What you'll be doing Collaborating with oncologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised medication regimens for cancer patients Reviewing and monitoring chemotherapy orders to ensure appropriate dosing, compatibility, and safe administration Providing education and counselling to patients and their families on the use of cancer medications, potential side effects, and medication management Participating in multidisciplinary cancer care teams to optimise patient outcomes Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in oncology pharmacotherapy and implementing evidence-based best practices Ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and hospital policies related to the handling and dispensing of hazardous drugs What we\'re looking for A Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree or equivalent 5+ years of experience as an Oncology Pharmacist in a hospital or clinic setting Certification as an Oncology Pharmacy Specialist (BCOP) or equivalent Excellent clinical knowledge and understanding of cancer treatments, including chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and supportive care medications Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with the healthcare team and educate patients Proficiency in medication therapy management, pharmacokinetics, and adverse event monitoring Commitment to continuing professional development and staying informed of the latest advancements in oncology pharmacy What we offer At We Hope Medical Clinic, we are committed to providing a supportive and rewarding work environment for our employees.
