As a Data Specialist , you’ll be responsible for collecting, organizing, and maintaining product and vendor data across multiple platforms. You’ll ensure data accuracy, automate workflows, and enable smarter decision-making across our operations. Benefits and Compensation Permanent Work from Home Paid Time Off Monthly Performance Bonus Annual Bonus What you’ll do Data management & accuracy: Upload, organize, and maintain spreadsheets to ensure consistency and integrity of product and vendor information. Data extraction: Scrape and download data from vendor websites using Octoparse, Python scripts, or similar tools. System updates: Process and validate product and vendor data in SAP and DTW. Automation & scripting: Use Python or equivalent tools to streamline repetitive workflows and improve data handling efficiency. Analysis & reporting: Use Excel (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, advanced formulas) to validate, analyze, and reconcile data. Quality control: Proactively identify and correct inconsistencies or missing information. Collaboration: Work cross-functionally to ensure completeness and accuracy of all product data. Continuous improvement: Leverage AI tools and automation technologies to enhance accuracy, speed, and process innovation. Website integration: Manage and update product information within Focus Point (backend system). What you’ll bring 2–4 years of experience in data analytics, data scraping, or related fields. Excel expertise — advanced use of formulas, lookups, and data validation. Python proficiency (or similar scripting language) for automation and data extraction. Experience with Octoparse or comparable scraping tools (required if no Python experience). Familiarity with SAP / DTW for data management. Basic HTML knowledge for data formatting and web integration. Experience with AI tools for productivity or analysis (preferred). Exposure to eCommerce or product information systems (a plus). Detail-oriented, analytical, and self-driven with a focus on accuracy and improvement. How you work (competencies that matter) Strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
