Overview We’re looking for a skilled Instructional Designer / eLearning Developer to collaborate with on a subcontract basis for client projects. Our agency develops training programs, knowledge systems, and digital learning assets for corporate clients. We’ll handle business development, procurement, intake, and curriculum design, and are looking for someone who can provide development and implementation support across multiple areas. This partnership is ideal for a professional who enjoys hands-on creative work and wants consistent opportunities without the client management side. You’ll work under the direction of a skilled consultant who stays actively involved in design, quality review, and client communications; you will support them in the development of the learning deliverables. This is project-based work with the potential for a long-term partnership if quality, collaboration, and communication are strong. What You’ll Support: eLearning Development: Build engaging, professional courses in Articulate 360 (Rise and Storyline) using provided scripts, outlines, or design documents. LMS Setup: Assist with course publishing, SCORM/xAPI exports, uploads, and testing in client LMS platforms. Knowledge Management: Help create, organize, tag, and maintain content libraries or knowledge bases for client learning resources. Graphics & Media: Create or refine visuals, infographics, and video-based learning assets using tools like Canva, Powtoon, SnagIt, or similar. What We’re Looking For: Access to your own Articulate 360 license (required). Experience with Powtoon, Canva, or another video editing or animation tool. Reliable communication and comfort collaborating asynchronously. Willingness to operate as a subcontractor, not client-facing, within defined workflows and feedback loops. Comfortability tracking hours. Nice to Have: Experience with knowledge management or learning content repositories. Familiarity with LMS administration. Project Structure: Workload will vary depending on client volume. Typical needs include developing new eLearning modules, converting ILT to digital, setting up LMS courses, or refining knowledge resources. If the collaboration goes well, this will evolve into an ongoing subcontractor relationship with recurring projects and an hourly increase. This is a contract role for a freelancer.
