They ensure that procurement activities align with company policies, quality standards, and cost objectives. Key Responsibilities Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to ensure reliable supply chains. (Supplier Management) Issue purchase orders and manage procurement activities in compliance with company policies and procedures. (Procurement) Negotiate terms, pricing, and delivery schedules with suppliers. Monitor inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking. (Inventory and Cost Management) Work to achieve cost savings and efficiency in procurement processes. Ensure all procurement activities comply with government regulations, company policies, and ethical standards. (Compliance and Documentation) Maintain accurate records of purchases, contracts, and supplier performance. Work closely with engineering, production, and quality teams to ensure materials meet specifications and project requirements. (Collaboration) Coordinate with internal stakeholders to address any supply chain issues. Identify opportunities for process improvements in procurement and supply chain management. (Continuous Improvement) Stay updated on market trends and new suppliers to enhance procurement strategies. Qualifications Degree in Supply Chain, Engineering discipline or equivalent. Experience as Buyer, Purchaser, Expediter or equivalent. Able to understand product specifications of components and materials. Proficient in ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent.
