David Kennedy Recruitment is working with a leading Outsourcing/BPO company that is looking to recruit an English-speaking Finance Lead for their offices in Manila.
Position: Finance Lead
Location: Manila, Philippines
Employment type: Full-time
Remuneration: Base salary.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Develop and deliver Management accounts in a timely manner as well as relevant schedules and analysis (monthly, quarterly & annually).
- Manage the full PEZA compliance process alongside the monthly/annual PEZA reporting.
- Collaborate closely with external auditors by preparing and coordinating requirements needed for the annual audit.
- Lead a team of finance associates and business administrators, providing relevant guidance and support when necessary.
- Provide assistance with reviewing purchase orders against invoices, scheduling future payments, reconciling partner supplier accounts & ensuring group compliance with purchasing policies for the Purchase Ledger Function.
- Lead and support team members to ensure cashflow is on schedule and escalate any potential accounting-related queries as needed.
- Provide accurate financial administration support in close collaboration with the company’s banks to ensure facilities’ maintenance when necessary.
- Participate in forecasting activities for the company when requested.
- Collaborate closely with lawyers regarding the provision of legal advice or/and documentation.
- Support the organization with the implementation of new systems and integrations.
- Get involved and oversee internal projects when necessary.
- Native/Fluent in English, both oral and written.
- Solid previous work experience in a similar role, ideally within a BPO or international environment.
- Sound knowledge of regional/local accounting laws and related policies.
- Full working proficiency with the following systems: Xero, MS Office (Excel).
