OverviewAR & Collections Analyst-1 PH EN role at Copeland. This role is part of Global Business Services (GBS) and focuses on accounts receivable, collections, and related activities.
Responsibilities- Receive and deposit customer payments accurately and promptly, ensure transactions are recorded correctly, and apply cash remittances to customer accounts.
- Prepare and maintain accounts receivable reports that provide insights into outstanding balances, cash flow, and collection performance; post AR activity to the general ledger in compliance with accounting standards.
- Communicate with customers to discuss adjustments, deductions, and delinquent accounts; negotiate payment arrangements and resolve balances.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including finance and sales, to align on collection strategies and ensure accurate accounting practices.
- Manage defaulted accounts, perform recovery activities, and implement strategies to recover amounts while minimizing losses.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of policies for managing delinquent accounts to maintain effective collection practices and minimize financial risk.
- Process adjustments and write-offs for uncollectible balances in accordance with company policies.
Essential:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
- 0-3 years of relevant experience in collections or accounts receivable.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and generate reports.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
Preferred:
- Master's degree or Chartered Accountant designation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with financial software and Oracle
- Solid understanding of accounts receivable processes and best practices
- Fluency in English (spoken and written) is required
- Additional language skills are a plus
