Technical Lead, Product Applications Engineering – ATE Business Unit

Responsibilities
  • Remain actively engaged in applications development, debugging, product evaluations, and customer support.
  • Partner with strategic customers to understand system-level challenges, act as customer liaison, and co-develop differentiated, value-added solutions.
  • Contribute to new product definitions and influence product roadmaps by collaborating with technology and product teams to align with customer needs and market trends.
  • Provide application technical support and help convert opportunities into design wins by partnering with sales, marketing, and technical teams.
  • Mentor junior engineers, support career progression, and collaborate cross-functionally with Design, FAEs, Failure Analysis, Marketing, and Sales to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Develop, deliver, and maintain technical training materials and collateral—including demos, webinars, datasheets, evaluation boards, simulation tools, application notes, FAQs, and other resources—to support field teams, customers, and post-release activities.
  • Build strong relationships with Field Application Engineers globally by creating and delivering advanced training.
  • Represent ADI at industry events, conferences, and customer workshops, positioning ADI as a trusted technical leader.
  • Remove barriers to execution by proactively identifying issues and driving resolution; utilize tools such as JIRA, Confluence, or similar to monitor and improve team KPIs.
  • Assess and propose CAPEX equipment purchases to support business and technical needs.
Qualifications
  • Strong technical foundation in electronics, semiconductors, or related fields; ATE (Pin Electronics, DPS, PMU, Switches, Multiplexers) experience is a strong advantage.
  • Proven hands-on expertise in product applications, test engineering, semiconductor system integration, and performing bench measurements to validate and answer queries from customers and internal stakeholders, such as the Failure Analysis team.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence product development across organizational boundaries.
  • Demonstrated ability to align technical solutions with both customer needs and market trends .
  • Experience in mentoring, technical leadership, and guiding engineers while remaining technically active.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Collaborative mindset, critical thinking skills, and a proactive, problem-solving approach.
Education and Experience
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 9 years of relevant experience, including some leadership or mentoring responsibilities.
Work Arrangement and Travel

This role offers a hybrid work setup, combining onsite and remote work. Occasional domestic and international travel is expected for customer visits, technical conferences, and team engagements.
