Overview On-site - Manila 3-5 Yrs Exp Bachelor Full-time Job Description Job Summary: The General Accountant is responsible for managing daily accounting operations, preparing financial statements, reconciling accounts, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting audit processes. Key Responsibilities General Ledger Management Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts. Post journal entries and ensure accurate financial data. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Assist in budgeting and forecasting. Fixed Asset Management Maintain and update fixed asset register. Calculate and record depreciation. Inventory Accounting (if applicable) Coordinate with inventory team for reconciliation and costing. Internal Controls Implement and monitor accounting controls and procedures. Ensure proper documentation and safeguarding of records. Other Tasks Support month-end and year-end close processes. Perform ad hoc analysis and tasks as required by management.
