Handle incoming and outgoing mail, routine correspondence, and meeting minutes. Maintain computer‑ and paper‑based filing and organization systems. Prepare letters, memos, and documents using word processing, spreadsheets, and presentation software. Enter and retrieve information from computer databases to update records and answer guest inquiries. Operate office equipment such as telephone, fax, photocopier, and calculator. Document and communicate all guest requests and complaints to appropriate personnel. Follow company policies, maintain confidentiality, and protect company assets. Develop positive working relationships, support team goals, and use clear professional language. Answer telephones with appropriate etiquette and welcome guests, anticipate their service needs, assist individuals with disabilities, and thank guests with genuine appreciation. Move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing no more than 10 pounds (or no more than 25 pounds without assistance). Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors. Complete cashier and closing reports and review shift logs / daily memo books. Contact appropriate departments to resolve guest calls or requests. Process all guest check‑ins: confirm reservations, verify identity, request payment, assign room, and issue key. Sell rooms or accommodations to guests without reservations based on availability. Ensure rates match market codes and document any exceptions. Scan and charge checks from outlets (Health Club, Retail Shop) to rooms. Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching employees. Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment / Open Door Policy process. Report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications. Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards. Stand, sit, or walk for an extended period of time or for an entire work shift. Preferred Qualifications Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience. Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience. License or Certification: None.
