Responsibilities

  • Evaluate AE products to international safety regulatory standards and product specifications.
  • Generate and supervise execution of test plan through coordination / supervision with test personnel.
  • Interface with certification agencies (i.e. UL, Nemko TUV-SuD, etc.) for product certification applications. Generate reports required by certification agencies.
  • Interface with program management for internal qualification and certification target and status.
  • Interface with design engineering teams for any technical concern related to product safety.
  • Interface with factory quality group for concerns on product safety inspection as mass production.
  • Participate in the activities related to the maintenance of self- test program of the laboratory by 3rd party certifiers (i.e. UL, Nemko, TUV-Sud)
  • Participate in the department's quality system and control in achieving zero customer complaints.
  • Review product safety impact on design changes and process re-qualification and re-certifications as needed.
  • Certification maintenance and other admin activities.Assist Design Engineers in test validations of safety requirements of the power supplies.
  • Admin activities for equipment maintenance and calibration.

Requirements

  • Graduate of BS ECE/EE
  • At least 5 year experience in electrical / electronics manufacturing industry.
  • Hands on experience of electrical testing equipment (i.e. oscilloscope, multimeters, dataloggers, etc.)
  • Understand operation of switching power supply with good trouble-shooting skills.
  • Knowledgeable with the following standards is a plus
    • IEC60950-1
    • IEC62368-1
    • ISO17025
