Role: Managed Services Business Leader for Southeast Asia defines marketing consulting solutions and leads delivery for Mastercard’s customer verticals (financial institutions, governments, retailers and ecommerce). The role supports sales by building a body of quantifiable successes.

The role combines traditional marketing with AI-driven capabilities to deliver personalized, data-informed, scalable marketing strategies, operating at the intersection of creativity, data, analytics, and technology. Responsibilities include leading and integrating marketing technology (MarTech) to enable insights and marketing strategies driving business impact.

Responsibilities
  • Lead complex client engagements across industries and problem statements.
  • Build and lead development of marketing strategies and campaigns for regional and global clients with technology and data.
  • Own senior client relationships from mid-level to C-suite; serve as trusted advisor and generate enthusiasm for Mastercard’s team and recommendations.
  • Leverage AI tools and data analytics to develop and optimize marketing strategies and campaigns; analyze consumer behavior, market trends, insights, and large datasets to personalize marketing efforts.
  • Design and implement AI-enhanced marketing strategies aligned with business goals.
  • Lead delivery and optimization of internal and external MarTech stacks to enable data-driven, automated marketing strategies with clear business impact.
  • Lead marketing strategy engagements for regional/global clients; work with technology and data.
  • Lead or support sales efforts by building a track record of successful engagements.
Qualifications
  • BA required; MBA preferred
  • Experience at a large issuing bank in Asia Pacific and/or other sophisticated payments markets; retailer experience is a plus
  • Performance and growth digital marketing experience is required
  • Hands-on experience designing and delivering large-scale campaigns acquiring new customers and marketing to existing customers
  • Comfortable in remote managerial situations
  • Well versed with martech solutions
  • Marketing consultancy experience preferred
  • Strong business acumen and entrepreneurial spirit
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and communications skills
  • Strong team player and able to work independently
  • Travel required; approximately 50%
