QA Lead

We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Quality Assurance to lead our testing efforts across both manual and automated workflows. In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring the quality and reliability of our web-based healthcare applications, which are trusted by top Australian hospitals and expanding globally. You will be responsible for writing and executing manual test cases, developing automated acceptance tests using Codeception (Selenium-based) , and collaborating closely with product and development teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage. As a QA lead, you’ll also mentor junior team members and contribute to shaping our QA practices. Responsibilities: Write and execute manual test cases and test scenarios for new and existing features. Collaborate with product and development teams to understand requirements and ensure test coverage. Perform functional, regression, and exploratory testing on web-based applications. Develop and maintain automated acceptance tests using Codeception (Selenium-based). Leading testing efforts. Mentor junior team members. Log, track, and validate bugs through the full development lifecycle. Participate in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives with a quality-first mindset. Contribute to process improvement efforts and documentation of QA best practices. Attributes: Strong experience in manual testing , including writing clear and comprehensive test cases and scenarios. Experience with automated testing tools for web applications. (Ideally) Hands-on experience with Codeception (PHP) or similar acceptance testing frameworks. Solid understanding of web technologies and common issues in web-based applications. Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira ). Strong communication and collaboration skills. A methodical, detail-oriented, and analytical approach to testing.
