Job Description The Production Staff member is responsible for the efficient and hygienic preparation of fruits, vegetables, and other raw ingredients into ready-to-use forms for Qool Crops' fast-food store operations. This role is crucial in maintaining our product consistency, quality, and operational efficiency across all branches. Responsibilities Receive, inspect, and store raw ingredients (fruits, vegetables, etc.) according to company standards and food safety guidelines. Perform meticulous peeling, cutting, slicing, dicing, and other processing tasks for a variety of fruits and vegetables, following precise specifications and recipes. Ensure all prepared ingredients meet quality standards for freshness, appearance, and consistency. Operate and maintain food processing equipment (e.g., slicers, choppers, peelers) safely and efficiently. Accurately portion and pre-pack prepared ingredients into designated containers, ensuring proper labeling with product name, date, and other relevant information. Organize and store pre-packed ingredients in appropriate refrigeration units, ensuring FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles are strictly followed. Quality Control & Safety: Adhere strictly to all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene protocols (HACCP principles, local health codes) at all times. Regularly clean and sanitize work surfaces, equipment, and storage areas. Monitor ingredient quality and report any discrepancies, spoilage, or quality issues to the Production Supervisor immediately. Assist in inventory management by accurately recording prepared quantities and reporting stock levels. Collaborate effectively with team members to meet daily production targets and deadlines. Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workspace. Communicate any operational issues or needs to the Production Supervisor promptly. Participate in training sessions and adhere to all company policies and procedures. Job Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in a commissary, food production, kitchen, or manufacturing environment is highly desirable. Familiarity with food safety practices and hygiene standards is a strong advantage. Ability to follow instructions accurately and work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality results. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, production-oriented environment. Physical stamina: ability to stand for extended periods, lift and carry up to 25-50 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks. A positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic. Willingness to work flexible hours, which may include early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, depending on production needs.
