Job Overview We are seeking a Electrical Design Engineer responsible for designing and developing electrical systems, layouts, and components in compliance with project requirements and industry standards. Works with cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, safe, and reliable electrical solutions from concept to completion. Job Description Prepare technical designs, drawings, and layouts for Solar PV, BESS, and EV system projects. Support proposal and bidding activities by preparing system sizing, electrical designs, and preliminary layouts. Conduct site assessments and visits to collect technical data and validate design parameters. Review project documentation to ensure compliance with the Philippine Electrical Code and other relevant standards. Prepare Bills of Materials (BOMs), Single Line Diagrams (SLDs), and other technical reports. Coordinate with stakeholders, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely completion of designs and deliverables. Assist the senior electrical engineering team in developing design tools, templates, and standard procedures. Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and regulations related to PV systems, BESS, EV systems, and MV/HV design. Job Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Registered Electrical Engineer (REE) is preferred. At least one (1) year of experience in electrical design, preferably in solar or renewable energy projects. Fresh graduates with a strong academic background are encouraged to apply. Proficient in AutoCAD (2D drafting and layout preparation). Knowledge of ETAP or other electrical analysis software is an advantage. Willing to conduct site visits as required. Strong collaboration and teamwork skills. Proactive and eager to learn, with the ability to adapt to new challenges. Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
