Senior Quality Engineer As a Senior Quality Engineer at Pointwest, you will lead the design, development, and implementation of automated testing solutions using Tricentis Tosca. You will work closely with project managers, developers, and client stakeholders to ensure high-quality software delivery while fostering a culture of Leadership, Excellence, and Innovation. This role requires both technical expertise and team leadership, aligned with Pointwest’s core values and culture of Agility, Accountability, Innovation, Collaboration, and Customer Centricity. Key Responsibilities: Lead the design, development, and maintenance of test automation frameworks and scripts using Tosca. Collaborate with development teams and clients to manage testing activities and resolve quality issues. Integrate Tosca with CI/CD pipelines and test management tools such as Jira and QTest. Perform API, UI, and database testing using automation strategies. Generate test reports and dashboards, providing insights and recommendations for quality improvement. Mentor junior and mid-level Quality Engineers, promoting skills development and best practices. Continuously enhance automation processes and contribute to business growth initiatives. Key Performance Indicators: Test coverage, defect detection rate, and client satisfaction scores. Automation adoption rate and reduction in manual testing effort. Process improvements and contribution to new business opportunities. Team development through mentoring and knowledge sharing. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. At least 3 years of hands-on experience in test automation using Tricentis Tosca. Strong skills in model-based testing, Tosca TBox and XPress modules, DEX execution, and API testing. Proficient in SQL for database testing and validation. Experience integrating Tosca with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, Azure DevOps) and version control systems (e.g., Git). Familiarity with scripting languages like VBScript, Java, or Tosca’s customization APIs. Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
