2 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants A SAP FICO Functional Consultant's job involves implementing, configuring, and supporting the SAP FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling) module to meet an organization's financial needs. Responsibilities include analyzing business requirements, designing solutions, performing customizations, testing, training end-users, and providing ongoing support. Core responsibilities Requirement analysis : Work with clients to understand business processes and financial requirements. Solution design : Create functional specifications, blueprints, and design solutions by mapping business needs to SAP FICO functionalities. Configuration : Customize and configure the SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and Controlling (CO). Implementation : Lead or support the implementation of new FICO solutions and assist with projects like data migration and system upgrades. Testing : Develop and execute test cases, and support user acceptance testing (UAT). User support : Train end-users and provide ongoing support for day-to-day queries and issues. Documentation : Create and maintain technical documentation, test cases, and process procedures. Integration : Ensure smooth integration with other SAP modules, such as MM (Material Management) and SD (Sales and Distribution). Required skills and competencies Strong understanding of financial and accounting principles. Expertise in SAP FICO configuration, integration, and best practices. Analytical and problem-solving abilities. Excellent communication skills for interfacing with both business and technical teams. Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team.
